A Russian missile attack on the ship "Golden Leo", which was transporting corn near the port of Odesa, resulted in the death of 10 people, according to Ukrainian officials.
The incident, considered the deadliest in a series of recent attacks in the Black Sea, occurred on Sunday when Russia struck the vessel flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau with three cruise missiles, causing a fire. A rescue operation lasted all night, and 8 of the 17 crew members were rescued.
Another Russian attack on the city of Odesa resulted in the death of 3 people and the injury of another 3.
Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it struck fuel tanks in the port of Odesa.
Meanwhile, the escalation of violence in the Black Sea has raised concerns about global grain supply, considering that Ukraine and Russia are among the largest exporters in the world. Recent attacks have significantly affected Ukraine's ability to export grain through its ports.
