Ukrainian authorities reported the death of one person and the injury of another nine in a Russian attack on the Zaporozhye region. The local governor, Ivan Fedorov, mentioned that the attack occurred in the context of an intensification of Russian offensives, which particularly target Ukrainian energy infrastructures. In parallel, Poland announced the deployment of aircraft and the alerting of ground defense systems to protect its airspace, especially in regions close to Ukraine.
