The governor of the region, Ivan Fedorov, announced the attack at 4:30, mentioning that Russian forces used KAB guided bombs, causing significant damage to civilian infrastructure, including at least five high-rise apartment buildings. The explosions were heard throughout the city, and police and rescue teams responded quickly. At the same time, the toll from a previous attack in Ternopil has risen to 28 dead, including three children, and 94 people were injured, with 16 missing under the rubble.
