On the night from Saturday to Sunday, a drone attack by Russia took place near Kiev, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of another 11, including a child. Mikola Kalachnik, the head of the military administration in the Kiev region, announced on Telegram that the attack targeted the city of Vyshhorod, and six of the injured have been hospitalized. Rescue teams were mobilized to evacuate residents from an affected high-rise building, and the official warned that the number of injured could increase. This attack comes after a series of Russian offensives and in the context of Ukraine recently launching naval drones against Russian oil infrastructure. Diplomatically, Ukraine has sent a delegation to the USA for negotiations, and French President Emmanuel Macron will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who dismissed a senior official following an anti-corruption investigation.
