At the Yelabuga factory, Russia is producing thousands of Geran-2 drones, the Russian version of the Iranian Shahed drone, to support night attacks on Ukraine. Teenagers as young as 15 are being hired to assemble the drones, while European officials estimate that Russia could deploy up to 2,000 drones a night. The strategy aims to demoralize Ukraine in the ongoing war, now in its fourth year.
