Russia launched an attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Thursday morning, using drones and missiles, injuring at least four people and damaging several buildings.
Tymur Tkachenko, head of the military administration of Kyiv, reported that part of a residential building collapsed in the Darnytskyi district, and residents may be trapped under the rubble. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that nine people were hospitalized, and two others received medical care. Damage was recorded in various neighborhoods of the city, including debris from drones that fell on residential buildings.
Images show emergency teams working among the rubble, as smoke rises from the affected buildings. The air raid alert was maintained in Kyiv for over four hours.
On the previous day, Russia attacked critical infrastructure in western Ukraine, causing the deaths of at least six people.
