On the night of January 10, Russia carried out a drone attack on Kyiv, causing explosions around 1:30 AM. Local officials reported a fire in a non-residential building in the Solomianskyi district. This attack comes in a difficult context for the city, which is facing interruptions in thermal power supply, following a massive attack on the night of January 9, which left half of the apartment buildings without heating. Mayor Vitali Klitschko urged residents to leave the city, and over 1,000 buildings remain without heating. Efforts to restore power continue, and Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced that significant improvements are expected by January 15. The attack on January 9 resulted in the deaths of at least four people and injured another 25, causing severe damage to critical infrastructure in Kyiv.
