Italian footballer Roberto Baggio and his family were kidnapped by violent robbers at their villa in Italy during a soccer match.

A group of thieves broke into Baggio's villa in Altavilla Vicentina during the Spain-Italy match at Euro 2024. They locked Baggio and his family in a room for 40 minutes, ransacking the villa in search of valuables. Baggio tried to fight off the attackers, suffering serious facial injuries. After the robbers left, Baggio managed to call the police.
