Russian President Vladimir Putin is willing to negotiate with "everyone", including the leaders of the European Union, according to a statement from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

This position comes after the Financial Times reported that the EU is changing its attitude towards Russia, frustrated by the negotiations led by American President Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine. Antonio Costa, the President of the European Council, mentioned that there is "potential" for negotiations with Putin, also having the support of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Dmitry Peskov emphasized that Russia will not initiate contacts, waiting for Europeans to make the first move, considering that they severed relations with Moscow in 2022.
