The commander of the pro-Iranian group Kataib Hezbollah, Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, has been charged in the US for orchestrating at least 20 terrorist attacks against the Jewish community in Europe and the United States, starting from February. American authorities claim that al-Saadi coordinated attacks in Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, and Canada, targeting synagogues and Jewish centers, including a synagogue in Manhattan.

The attacks were organized through an obscure group, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya, which acted as a front for Kataib Hezbollah. Investigators found that the attacks were a reaction to the escalation of the conflict between Iran, the US, and Israel. Al-Saadi was arrested in Turkey and transferred to the US, where he was placed in detention. Prosecutors believe that he directly collaborated with key leaders of Iran's Quds Force and attempted to destabilize American society through violence. The case is seen as a significant terrorist threat from pro-Iranian networks outside the Middle East.
