Prince Harry, alongside Elton John, David Furnish, Elizabeth Hurley, Sadie Frost, Doreen Lawrence, and Sir Simon Hughes, lost a lawsuit against the Daily Mail, according to Variety. The court ruled that the plaintiffs failed to substantiate their claims regarding the hacking of mobile phones and the interception of landlines, as well as the installation of microphones in homes and cars. The publisher Associated Newspapers denied the allegations.

The trial, which took place this year, had estimated costs of around 40 million dollars. This is the latest stage in Prince Harry's long battle with the press, having previously sued other publications for illegal information gathering. Harry has also been involved in lawsuits related to defamation and security arrangements, and his legal issues continue, including a recent action against the charity organization Sentebale.
