The President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, arrived in Pakistan for a three-day visit and was greeted at the airport by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The visit includes meetings with senior Pakistani officials as well as visits to the cities of Lahore and Karachi. Security measures have been stepped up, with Islamabad highways blocked to protect the Iranian delegation.
