The Vatican has announced a special meeting that will be attended by renowned actors such as Cate Blanchett, Chris Pine, Adam Scott, Alison Brie, Dave Franco, and Viggo Mortensen, along with famous directors including Spike Lee, George Miller, Gus Van Sant, Joanna Hogg, and Julie Taymor. The purpose of the event is to discuss how film and artistic creativity can convey messages related to human values, solidarity, and hope, which are essential themes for the Church. Pope Leo XIV aims to emphasize how art can become an instrument of the common good and of bringing people closer together. This is not the first meeting of its kind: last year, the Pope hosted a group of comedians to discuss the role of humor. The event will take place in the "Paul VI" Hall in the Vatican and will be followed by informal discussion sessions among guests and representatives of the Church.
