Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in the center of Paris, has been transformed into a huge cave, simply named "The Cave," by the French street artist Jene-René, known by the pseudonym JR. This artistic installation, which mimics an authentic cavern, offers visitors a captivating experience, accompanied by the music of the electronic band Daft Punk. The project is a tribute to the installation created by Christo and Jeanne-Claude 40 years ago.

The cave stretches over a length of 120 meters and rises 18 meters above the Seine River, providing a sense of underground adventure through images of the stone quarries used in the construction of Parisian buildings. The installation can be visited for free until the end of June, and between June 6 and 28, 2026, visitors will be able to experience an ephemeral mineral fissure in the heart of the capital, promising a spectacular artistic experience.
