The Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, announced on Tuesday that Poland will not send troops to Iran, arguing that the conflict does not directly affect the national security of the country. Tusk emphasized that Warsaw's decision is in line with its allies, including the United States.

This comes in the context of a call from American President Donald Trump, who urged allies to contribute to securing the Strait of Hormuz, affected by attacks from Iranian forces. Tusk mentioned that Polish forces are focused on strengthening security in the Baltic Sea region and that there are no plans for a military expedition to Iran. Allies such as Germany, Spain, and Italy have taken a similar stance, having no immediate intentions to send ships to the area.
