The Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland, Pawel Zalewski, clearly stated that his country does not want nuclear warheads on its territory, in the context of discussions about the future American military presence.

During a conference in Brussels, Zalewski emphasized that Poland is interested in increasing the permanent military presence of the U.S., but not in the deployment of nuclear weapons. He also mentioned that Poland wants to actively participate in NATO's nuclear deterrence program without having nuclear warheads on its territory.

This statement comes following Washington's announcement to review the deployment of American troops in Europe, with the aim of enhancing European security.

Additionally, Zalewski referred to President Trump's promise to send 5,000 American soldiers to Poland, which could strengthen regional security.
