Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced that Poland will reintroduce temporary border controls with Germany and Lithuania to manage illegal migration, amid criticism from nationalist parties. The measures follow an increase in patrolling by far-right groups on the border with Germany. Tusk emphasized the need for such controls to limit uncontrolled flows of migrants, as Germany has extended its own controls. Poland is facing a migrant crisis, accusing Belarus and Russia of orchestrating it.
