A small aircraft crashed on Saturday over the roof of a house in Ganderkesee, Lower Saxony, causing the death of one person on board.

German authorities are conducting a large-scale operation to find a second person believed to have been on the aircraft at the time of the impact. The accident occurred near Bremen, and the aircraft fell directly onto a single-family home, remaining embedded in the structure. The homeowners were not at home at the time of the crash, so there were no ground casualties. The cause of the accident is still unknown, and investigators are considering several hypotheses, including technical malfunctions. The area has been evacuated as a precaution within a radius of 100 meters, and response teams continue the search and investigation of the wreckage.
