Péter Magyar, the president of the Tisza Party, declared a "historic" victory following the recent elections, announcing the formation of a government that will unite society and rebuild Hungary on democratic foundations.

"We succeeded. Tisza and Hungary have won these elections," he said. "Together, we replaced Orbán's system and, together, we liberated Hungary; we have reclaimed our country. In the history of democratic Hungary, never have so many people voted, and no party has ever received such a strong mandate as Tisza. Dear friends, you have performed a miracle; today Hungary has made history," Peter Magyar stated in a speech delivered at midnight.

With a constitutional majority, Magyar promised major reforms, resignations in key institutions, and a firm pro-European orientation. He emphasized that Hungarians voted for a peaceful country without stigmatization, and the Tisza government will represent the interests of all citizens. Magyar called for the resignation of the heads of the judiciary and the chief prosecutor, threatening dismissals if they do not comply.

"I ask the President of the Republic to request me without delay, as the leader of the winning party list, to form a government and then resign from office," Peter Magyar further stated in his speech.

He also emphasized Hungary's commitment to the European Union and NATO, announcing that his first official trip will be to Warsaw.
