Following the airstrikes carried out by Pakistani forces on Afghanistan, at least 10 people, including nine children and one woman, lost their lives in Khost province. The Taliban government's spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, announced that the attacks occurred around midnight and also caused other incidents in the border regions of Kunar and Paktika, where four people were injured. These attacks come against the backdrop of rising tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, a day after a suicide attack in Pakistan that left 12 dead. Islamabad has accused a "terrorist cell" from Afghanistan for the recent attacks, and the two countries have agreed on a fragile ceasefire, which faces difficulties in implementation due to security issues.
