The draft law proposed by Fidesz would ban any gathering that violates the prohibition set out in the law on the protection of minors, introducing financial penalties for organizers and participants. The amendment would be debated in parliament in the coming weeks. This initiative comes in the context of increasingly restrictive policies towards the LGBTIQ+ community in Hungary.
