A year after its reopening, Notre Dame Cathedral has become the most visited monument in Paris, attracting 11 million visitors, surpassing the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. The reopening ceremony, led by Archbishop Laurent Ulrich on December 7, 2024, sparked huge interest, with over 30,000 visitors daily. Compared to the 9 million annual visitors before the fire in 2019, the number has increased significantly. The restoration of the cathedral included cleaning the stones and a new lighting system, enhancing the overall appearance. Access is free, which contributes to its popularity, despite pressures to introduce an entrance fee. Notre Dame has also resumed religious activities, remaining an open place for all.
