The former US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, has rejected Trump's demand for full immunity for the president.

"Absolutely ridiculous," Nikki Haley retorted on CNN, referring to a plea by Trump's lawyers in federal court, where they argued that a president should have full immunity even if he ordered the assassination of a political rival, unless he was impeached and convicted in the US Senate.
