The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced on Friday that, after an 'excellent' discussion with American President Donald Trump, Israel maintains its 'freedom of action' in Lebanon.

Netanyahu emphasized that, despite efforts to achieve a 'historic peace' with Lebanon, Hezbollah is trying to sabotage these efforts.

The Israeli army issued an evacuation order for the residents of the city of Deir Amas in southwestern Lebanon, anticipating an attack against Hezbollah positions, after Trump announced an extension of the ceasefire.

Israel has carried out attacks against Hezbollah, including striking a rocket launcher. The Lebanese government has rejected Iran's involvement in discussions with the US and Israel, while Hezbollah has been excluded from negotiations.

The Israeli military campaign has led to a significant number of casualties and displacements in Lebanon.
