The Swedish government has announced that NATO will open a logistics headquarters in Enköping to facilitate military transportation in Northern Europe and strengthen the Alliance's ability to respond to Russian threats. The base will operate with about 70 troops in peacetime and handle the transportation of essential supplies. The Swedish Armed Forces are responsible for preparing the necessary logistics, with the aim of the center becoming operational by the end of 2027.
