Following a request by US President Donald Trump, NATO leaders have decided to significantly increase defense budgets, highlighting the perceived threat from Russia. Responding to comments by Polish Foreign Minister Lavrov, Lavrov suggested that NATO could collapse because of the increase in defense spending. Russia, which has already increased its military budget, has said it intends to cut its spending in the future, despite the current increase.
