At least four people lost their lives after a large-scale drone attack launched by Ukraine on several regions in Russia, including Moscow, targeting the largest air raid in the past year.

These attacks occurred a few days after the conclusion of a ceasefire with Ukraine. The Russian air defense managed to shoot down 74 drones on the night from Saturday to Sunday and over 120 in the last 24 hours, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. The governor of the region, Andrei Vorobiov, reported that a woman died in Khimki, and two men in Mytishchi. Additionally, several homes and infrastructure were damaged, and four people were injured. In Moscow, one attack caused 12 injuries, mostly workers from a construction site. Russian authorities did not specify the origin of the attacks, but Ukraine stated that it targets military and energy facilities in Russia in response to Russian bombings. Reciprocal attacks resumed after the expiration of the three-day ceasefire negotiated by the USA. Ukrainian President Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's right to strike targets in Russia as a reaction to attacks on Kyiv.
