The military high school in Legnica, Poland, has implemented a drone piloting course in the context of current threats in the region, especially after incidents involving Russian drones that entered Polish airspace. The young students train on simulators, and the first 18 trainees are considered 'pioneers' of this program. The program director, Tomasz Zachariasz, emphasized the students' interest, who immediately asked about the connection between their lessons and recent incidents. One student, Bartosz Ladocha, mentioned the importance of drones in the conflict in Ukraine and expressed a desire to join the army. Poland, a strong supporter of Ukraine, intends to purchase drones worth 46 million euros and has created a special force for their operation.
