<p>Boisson pulled off a remarkable performance to win the final of the WTA clay-court tournament in Hamburg on Sunday, beating Hungary's Anna Bondar 7-5, 6-3. This is the first victory by a French player on the WTA circuit since Caroline Garcia's success in November 2022. Boisson, who reached the semi-finals at Roland-Garros, will enter the WTA top 50 on Monday, having been ranked 361st before the tournament. On receiving the trophy, she gave an emotional speech, thanking the German public.
