This is the first final between two American players in Cincinnati since 1970 and gives Gauff her second title at this tournament, following her win in 2023 when she also claimed her first Grand Slam title at the US Open.

Coco Gauff dominated the match, leading 5-0 in the first set and showing a clear superiority in the match statistics, winning 65% of the points played on her first serve.
