On the occasion of International Women's Day, Kim Jong Un delivered a speech in Pyongyang, highlighting the contributions of North Korean women, whom he described as a "solid pillar of the Revolution." He emphasized their determination and efforts, mentioning that "the wrinkles they have are a testament to their tireless effort."
At the event, held in the Sports Hall in Pyongyang, his wife, Ri Sol Ju, and his daughter, Ju Ae, who is considered by experts to be first in the line of succession, were present. Kim's speech was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience, which included officials from the ruling party and foreign dignitaries.
Recently, there is speculation that Ju Ae could be designated as Kim Jong Un's successor, considering her recent public appearances.
North Korea has been ruled since 1948 by the Kim dynasty, considered a symbol of Korean national identity.
