As a result of the Russian bombings, which led to massive interruptions in the supply of heating and electricity in Kyiv, the municipal administration has decided to implement measures to save electricity. Starting from Friday, public lighting will be reduced to 20% of its usual capacity to decrease energy consumption. These measures are intended to help manage the energy crisis until the system's capacity is restored.
Additionally, the closure of schools affects the entire educational system in the capital, with authorities trying to limit energy consumption in the context of the pressure on the energy grid caused by Russian attacks.
