US Vice President JD Vance has said Washington will not intervene in the conflict between India and Pakistan as it is not a matter of its concern. He emphasized that the US can encourage de-escalation but cannot force a ceasefire. Vance expressed hope that the situation would not escalate into a regional or nuclear war. In the context of recent attacks between the two countries, Secretary of State Marco Rubio called for an immediate de-escalation of the violence.
