The Israeli army has recovered the bodies of three hostages in Gaza following a military operation and with the help of intelligence services.

On June 22, the Israeli army announced the recovery of the bodies of three hostages in the Gaza Strip, discovered during a special operation carried out with the Shin Bet. The operation was made possible thanks to precise intelligence information. The hostages identified are Ofra Keidar, Yonatan Samerano and Sergeant Major Shai Levinson. Of the 251 people kidnapped in the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, 49 remain in Gaza, 27 of whom are presumed dead.
