The Israeli airstrike in Sanaa has resulted in the death of at least nine people, including four children and two women, while dozens more have been injured. The strikes targeted facilities of the Houthi rebels but also affected densely populated residential areas. The Houthi rebels, who declare their support for the Palestinians, have promised not to give up the fight in the wake of these attacks, amid escalating tensions between Israel and Yemen. The death toll could rise as rescue teams continue to search through the rubble.
