Israel has declared that it will attack Hezbollah targets "with force", intensifying tensions in a fragile ceasefire with Lebanon, recently extended by American President Donald Trump for another three weeks. Four people have been reported killed in Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah has launched rockets at Israel, provoking responses from the Israeli army. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered attacks on Hezbollah targets, and the Israeli army has struck rocket launchers and facilities of the militant group. The army has also warned Lebanese residents to avoid the area of the Litani River, where confrontations continue. A Hezbollah parliamentarian criticized the US-mediated ceasefire, deeming it meaningless in the context of ongoing hostilities in the region.
