Israel has decided to temporarily remove from its list of targets two high-ranking Iranian officials, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, after Pakistan requested the United States to intervene. A Pakistani source told Reuters that Washington asked Israel to abandon its plans to eliminate these officials, arguing that without them, there would be no interlocutors for discussions. The information was initially confirmed by 'The Wall Street Journal', which mentioned that the suspension of attacks could last between four and five days.

This decision comes amid mediation efforts by Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey between Tehran and Washington, in the context of tensions generated by the military conflict between the United States and Israel. The Israeli army and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office have not yet commented on this information.
