The Israeli army has announced the interception of a rocket fired from Yemen, an act attributed to Houthi rebels acting in solidarity with Palestinians in the context of the war in the Gaza Strip. Although the shooting was not claimed, the Houthis, backed by Iran, have regularly carried out attacks on Israel. In response, Israel carried out attacks in Yemen, targeting Huthi-controlled areas, including ports and airports.
