Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the expansion of a 'buffer zone' in southern Lebanon, aimed at removing the threat of rockets from Hezbollah's movement. In a video recording, Netanyahu emphasized the importance of this security zone in preventing infiltrations into Galilee and Israel's northern border. The Israeli army is conducting operations in several villages in the area, with the goal of eliminating Hezbollah from southern Lebanon. This action comes in the context of a new conflict, which has resulted in 1,094 deaths and 3,119 injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. Netanyahu stated that Israel is determined to change the situation in Lebanon and to protect the population in the northern part of the country.
