Israel has closed its airspace for civilian flights after the "preventive attack" on Iran.

The airport authority in Israel announced on Saturday the closure of airspace for civilian flights, following a preventive attack launched by Israel against Iran. Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that this attack aims to eliminate threats to the Israeli state, thereby escalating tensions in the Middle East and reducing the chances of a diplomatic solution in the nuclear dispute between Tehran and the West.

Explosions have been reported in Tehran, and images from the area showed a black smoke cloud, confirming the impact of the attack. Authorities have stated that flights to and from Israel will resume as soon as the security situation allows.
