Israel carried out strikes in southern Beirut, Lebanon, in response to Hezbollah attacks.

Israel announced on Sunday that it carried out airstrikes on the Dahiyeh neighborhood in southern Beirut, a stronghold of the Hezbollah group, in response to the fire launched by it towards Israeli territory.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that these strikes were a retaliatory measure against drone attacks carried out by Hezbollah on northern Israel. Two far-right Israeli ministers called for further reprisals, emphasizing that Israel will not tolerate attacks on its territory. The Israeli army confirmed that it struck a Hezbollah command center, and Lebanese news agencies reported that at least one person was killed and four were injured in the aftermath of the attacks.
