Two Iranian drones fell near Dubai International Airport, injuring four people, including an Indian citizen with moderate injuries and two citizens from Ghana and one citizen from Bangladesh with minor injuries. Authorities in the United Arab Emirates announced that air traffic remains limited, and passengers have been advised to take shelter from debris.
Since the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East, air defense has detected over 1400 drones launched by Iran, most of which have been intercepted. This is the second incident of this type in a few days, following an explosion heard above the airport after the interception of a drone. The airport continues to operate with a reduced number of flights.
