The Iranian army issued a severe warning, stating that it will "open new fronts" against the United States if they resume attacks on Iran, which have been suspended since the ceasefire on April 8.
The spokesperson for the Iranian army, Mohammad Akraminia, emphasized that a new aggression would be a fatal mistake. At the same time, the American president Donald Trump announced that he canceled a planned attack on Iran, stating that there are opportunities for an agreement with Tehran, at the request of leaders from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Negotiations between the US and Iran, which began after the ceasefire, remain fragile, with divergent positions, especially on the nuclear issue. Iran responded to a new peace proposal from the US, demanding the unblocking of its frozen assets and the lifting of sanctions. Trump warned that the US is prepared for a "total attack" if an acceptable agreement is not reached, while Iran denounced the conditions imposed by Washington.
