Iran has vehemently rejected the claims of American President Donald Trump, who asserts that Iranian naval and air forces have been destroyed.

Mohammad Akbarzadeh, political deputy of the commander of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that these claims are contradicted by the reality in the region. He emphasized that, despite U.S. statements, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed to oil tankers, which indicates that the Iranian navy is still active. Trump claimed on his Truth Social platform that Iranian forces have disappeared, but Akbarzadeh rhetorically asked why Iranian missiles and drones continue to strike targets.
