Amir-Saeid Iravani, Iran's ambassador to the UN, says Tehran could accept the transfer of 20% and 60% enriched uranium stockpiles in negotiations with the US, but stresses that this is not a binding condition. Iran will retain the right to enrich uranium on its territory and rules out any restrictions on its ballistic missile program. Tensions have increased recently because of Israeli and US attacks and Iran has passed a law suspending cooperation with the IAEA, complicating negotiations. The Iranian foreign minister has also expressed readiness to resume talks with the US, calling for a more respectful tone from President Trump.
