The heavy water reactor at Arak, a centerpiece of the 2015 nuclear deal, has been attacked by Israel, according to the IRIB news agency. Two projectiles hit the facility, but it was not significantly damaged. The IDF issued a warning to nearby residents, emphasizing the danger. Although Iran was obliged to turn Arak into a peaceful research facility, it violated certain conditions of the agreement, and the attack comes after previous attacks on other Iranian nuclear facilities.
