Two Belgian influencers, Neal and Senne, managed to deceive the security agents at the Louvre and hang one of their paintings next to the Mona Lisa, despite heightened security measures following a recent theft.
They used a foldable frame made of LEGO pieces and a rolled canvas to clandestinely introduce the artwork into the museum. Once inside, before the museum closed, they reassembled the frame and hung the painting close to the famous artwork by Leonardo da Vinci, taking advantage of the moment when visitors began to leave. Aware of the risks of their actions, the two did not stay to observe the reactions and quickly left the museum. The incident raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the security system at some of the world's most renowned museums.
