The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the human remains handed over by Hamas in Gaza belong to hostage Ofir Tzarfati, who was kidnapped on October 7, 2023, during an attack on the Nova music festival.
Some of Tzarfati's remains have already been recovered by the Israeli army during a military operation conducted two years ago. The Hostage Families Forum has urged Israeli authorities to take action against Hamas, accusing the militant group of violating the ceasefire by not handing over other bodies. They are calling on the Israeli government to act decisively in the face of these provocations.
