Three people were injured following the crash of a helicopter on highway 50, without having any patients on board.

The helicopter, registered to REACH Air Medical Services, crashed on Highway 50, with a pilot, a medical assistant, and a paramedic on board. The incident occurred after the helicopter took off from the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento and was heading north. FAA records confirm that there were no patients on board at the time of the crash.
