In Russia, a helicopter made an emergency landing on a road due to a technical failure, carrying eight people on board, including a representative of the electoral commission and four journalists. They were traveling to an isolated area in the Far East to organize elections for the State Duma, scheduled for the second half of the month.
The aircraft suddenly lost altitude, and the pilot managed to make an emergency landing on the road. Unfortunately, the helicopter went off the road and overturned into a ditch. All eight passengers sustained minor injuries, but no serious casualties were reported. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
